WhatsApp is now available with Face ID and Touch ID for iPhone users

WhatsApp version 2.19.20 has been rolled out in Apple’s App Store with a new striking security feature for iPhone users.

Whatsapp’s new update will enable you to use Face ID & Touch ID. Now one can hide their private chats from being read by someone else. This feature is certainly going to enhance the security from the user point of view. No one can now sneak out on your messages.

However, this feature is currently available for only iPhone users, having iPhone 5S or later with iOS 9 and above.

To use this iPhone feature in Whatsapp. Follow the given steps. Go to Settings > Account> Privacy > Screen lock and enable the Touch ID or Face ID. It will also give you the option to choose after what time Whatsapp would need your Touch ID or Face ID after it gets closed.
